46 Hours Outside - January 2022

One month into our 1000 Hours Outside Challenge for 2022!

JANUARY - 46 hours (46/1000 total). Whew! What a month! I don't think we've ever had so many snowy days. And usually when we get snow, it's just flurries and doesn't last long. One day this month, we had over 9 inches of snow (which is usually how much snow we get the whole winter!). And then the snow just lingered. It's a fun outdoor experience to play in the snow -- as it snows, after it snows, and as it melts.  I was hoping to finish the month with 50 hours (last year we had 51), but we just couldn't swing it with multiple days at the end of the month in the 20s with snow still on the ground. We did get back into geocaching, which gave us something fun to anticipate during a cold hike.
