2023 - Texas road trip after camp!

I have a dear friend whom I had never met in person. It was a kind of random God-ordained connection through a mutual friend on Facebook. She lives in San Antonio, which is still far from Scripture memory camp, but we decided to each drive partway and meet up in Dallas!
It was about 3 hours for us. On the way, we stopped at our first ever Buc-ee's experience! Then we played at a park in downtown Dallas before heading up to our AirBNB in Frisco, where we met Mary and her family (husband, two kids). We spent the next day doing tourist-y things and hanging out together.  Then on Sunday, we attended The Village Church together before parting ways. Our family drove on to Memphis for one more night in an AirBNB before getting home.
Chance's first time in Texas!

Our first (but certainly not last) Buc-ee's experience!

Jumping around with new friends

The coolest library ever! I took the little 3 here while Lucas took the big boys to the National Videogame Museum

I mean, even the bookshelves are impressive!

Colson was fascinated with the silver toilets!

Ice cream at Braums!

We listen to TVC's kid podcast God's Big Story, so it was neat to see some of those references on the walls.

Finally meeting my friend Mary in person!
