We take the bullet train TOMORROW to our Osaka “home” for the next two months. Before we leave Tokyo, I wanted to capture some of the boys’ thoughts of the trip so far…
CHANCE
What did you enjoy doing on the cruise?
birthday! I played video games and I didn't do kids club (We let them choose what they do on their birthdays, so that usually entails a lot of video games and their preferences for meals. We made them do Kids Club every night, so it was a special "treat" to not have to go. He also got to blow out a 4 candle on his dinner dessert, and one of the French fries happened to be in a 4 shape!)
What did you enjoy eating on the cruise?
I loved French fries! I loved cake, but I didn't eat the whole thing. (Chance's main protein for the day was a plate of shredded cheese on the pool deck every afternoon)
Who did you like to hang out with on the cruise?
Oliver. I saw him at night a lot of times. Oh, and he was in the Family Fun Festival getting all of the chairs, so they were flat, flat, flat, and he was by himself.
Which port was your favorite? Why?
beach because it had a shower
What do you think of Japan so far?
"I yuv it!" (I love it).
What parts are strange?
A funny thing is like shower outside (when we were rinsing off at the beach)
What parts are awesome?
I like the vending machines. I like to get drinks -- the one that is orange and is a drink and in a vending machine. Do you know that one? (Chance also likes looking for interesting manhole covers. He insists that we take a picture at every one)
