Our first full day in Boulder started with a small neighborhood park with a zipline swing! We had never been to a playground with one, but after this one, we've now been to several.
Carter trying the zipline standing up!
The little boys were a bit scared of the zipline, but they enjoyed eating their snack and climbing around.
He was excited until he saw this warning sign for rattlesnakes (but thankfully, we didn't see any!)
This was the hole where I got a hole-in-one. Calvin technically got one, too. He did hit the ball only once (but Carter's ball hit it the rest of the way).
This was the little boys' first opportunity to play mini golf, and they loved running ahead, hitting the balls every which way, and messing up the course where Carter was trying to putt.
We got to play on both course for the price of one, so we spent a lot of time here.
We also stopped at a grocery store on the way back to stock up for the week. This was a fruit roll-up type thing that Cooper wanted to buy.
Lunch in the treehouse!
Looking through the hole in the trap door!
Another highlight ended up being my aunt and uncle's dogs. The boys are not often around big dogs, and Calvin especially was scared when he first saw (and heard) them, but they all warmed up to them and enjoyed playing with them.
Here's Indy playing fetch with Calvin (and the chuck-it device). We ended up having to take a break from fetch because Indy had a hard time recovering from all the playing!
Dinner on the deck (we were really racking up our hours outside on this trip!)
That evening, we walked to the nearby North Boulder Park. Here's a "bobcat" we saw in the neighborhood: :-)
...and a cat
Beautiful scenery everywhere!
Calvin loved this fitness equipment -- he blended right in with the guy who was very serious about his workout!
Timing himself on the bike/scooter course
And walking back
Calvin gave the little boys some piggy backs every so often to motivate them not to complain and to keep walking :-)
We had limited bowls, so here is Carter eating his cereal out of a pan!
