108 Hours Outside - September 2022

September - 108 hours (908 total)

Another month of over 100 hours! I think we'll beat last year, when we reached 1000 on the last day of November (although life is about to get crazy with adding a newborn to the mix!). We spent A LOT of time in the front yard -- riding scooters in the road, having school time at the table, and playing in our (empty!) trash bins. We did a couple events with our homeschool social groups, including one that we hosted where each family presented a psalm that they had memorized together over the summer. We had our last campout of the year, this time at Mamaw and Papaw's house. We went to the Children's Garden a couple of times and loved our annual trek to Bi-Water Farm. We also had a big fieldtrip day at the Red River Gorge -- Living Archaeology Day, a hike over and under SkyBridge, and pizza at Miguel's!
