Lexington Parks - Elizabeth Street

Elizabeth Street Park (1521 Elizabeth St.)
Location - off Nicholasville Road, near Baptist Health Hospital and the Arboretum
Playground? yes
Trails? yes (paved)
Other? shelter, "adult swing", basketball court

We've been to this park several times because it is not too far from our house. I love how it is tucked away from the road and opens up to a nice, safe tree-lined area with a small playground, shelter, and paved loop. It's a good place to bring bikes or scooters for the kids. We didn't stay long this day and didn't play on the playground. I may try to update this post when we play on the playground next time.

They love swinging on these!

Carter always loves to find a tree to climb, no matter how small!

One of my favorite photo ops is of our boys walking on paths....

(Note: We have visited 50+ parks in Lexington since the beginning of Covid. These are not meant to be extensive reviews but more a record of our experiences. Eventually I will add hyperlinks to all the blog entries here)
