The boys hadn't been to Canada, and it was only an hour away, so we went for the day! We drove over the Mackinac Bridge (she's a mighty fine bridge). Lucas and I had gotten our passports, and the boys didn't need one since they were with us, and we had their birth certificates. Sault Ste. Marie (pronounced "Soo Saint Marie") is a city in both Michigan, USA and Ontario, Canada. We first stopped at Tim Horton's for some donuts that we ate at a park with a zipline swing! Then we went to Burger Don for some poutine (French fries with cheese curds and brown gravy on top -- it's a Canadian comfort food). We got ours to go since we were still social distancing in the Covid era. Next we split off from the rest of the group to hike to a waterfall.
